Going home today!

Two days after Ortho experts reattached my broken bones with a metal plate and at least 10 screws, I am cleared to go home.
With God’s grace the toxic fractures in my left shoulder and humerus were expertly fixed by a team of Ortho experts of the Davao Doctors Hospital led by Dr. Kristoffer Roa and Dr. Noel Rex Peñaranda.
Doctors and nurses were amazed at my quick recovery and sound vital signs at my age, 68.
During my 4-day hospital stay, my BP was at an average of 120 over 70, my Oxygen Level was at 98 while my ECG was normal.
The only concern was my blood sugar which hovered between a low 5 and a high 10.
Doctors advised me to be mindful of my diet.
I attributed my sound vital signs to the fact that I quit smoking 24 years ago and abstained from alcohol for 16 years now.
I have been advised to take a 3-week rest so the broken bones will completely heal.

The lead doctor, Dr. Kristoffer Roa, is a young Ortho Expert on “toxic” fractures who trained in Thailand on the Minimally-Invasive Technology.
Thank you to the happy Doctors and Nurses of the Operating Room who assisted in the operation and took so many selfies before the procedure.
I thank my daughter, Dr. Ma. Krista Piñol-Solis and my family for their prayers, love and attention, Dr. Edwin Mudanza and the Nurses and Staff of Kidapawan Medical Specialist for attending to my needs right after the accident.
Most of all, the Almighty for prootecting me and healing me.
