CAMPAIGN SIDELIGHTS: AN ANGRY BLOGGER POSTS DEPRESSING PHOTOS OF BANISILAN-LIBUNGAN ROAD

Shortly after I posted a picture of the badly battered Banisilan-Libungan Road which I passed through last Wednesday, paid broadcasters of the incumbent Governor reportedly branded me a liar claiming that the road has actually been repaired.

I actually did not hear the broadcast personally but a follower of this page and a fellow blogger Peter John Ate of Bao, Alamada sent me a message and about 8 photos of the damaged portion of the Banisilan-Libungan Road.

This was the portion which I did not see last Wednesday because we took a detour from Bao to Kitubod, Kapayawi and Palau to reach Libungan town.

Here is the message of Peter John Ate which I edited for purposes of correcting the spelling and readability.

“Gov. Manny, these are the pictures of the Banisilan-Libungan Provincial road portion in Bao, Alamada two years ago.

“ I reported this to BMPM of TV PATROL but until now this road is still the same. It’s been a long time that the people of this barangay have suffered because of the attitude of the current Gov. Mendoza.

“She lost to you in this barangay, in the past 2010 election. Sana trabaho lang, walang personalan.

“Gov. mauli ko didto karon bisan nga ulan kay para magkuha sang bago nga pictures para makita sang whole North Cotabato nga ara nga kalsada wala gid na nakay-o halin sa 2010.

“Namati abi ko sa radyo kahapon kag siling nila gina-daot mo daw si Gov Lala nga wala ginpaayo ang kalsada from Libungan to Banisilan.

“Naga butig ka lang daw kay nakay-o na daw na. Na buwisit lang ko pagkabati ko ba, amo naiisipan ko nga i-post ko ulit ang mga pictures nga ini kay ako mismo taga Bao. Kada mag uli ko didto, pwerte ka perhwisyo.

“Ginahimo ko ni Gov kay gusto ko nga magbulig sa imo para ipakita sa iban nga ang ginahambal mo tinuod kag indi butig.

“Sa panahon mo Gov. maguba man ang kalsada namon pero makay-o dayon. Pero subong wala gid sya napaayo kay ginpildi mo sya sa barangay namon.

“Madinumtanon ang pagkatao sang Gobernador subong. Hindi na sya dapat ibalik sa pwesto.”

Since the media defenders of the current administration are following this page, I ask them to react to this report by an ordinary citizen and a resident of Bao, Alamada.
