First Big Boost!

Our bid to win the Governorship of Cotabato received a major boost today with an unsolicited pledge of support from the young Mayor of Kidapawan City, lawyer Paolo Evangelista.
The 35-year-old very charismatic Mayor posted in his FB Page today his declaration of support for my candidacy.
This is a major boost since Mayor Pao ran against my younger brother, Jun, in the last elections and this is the first time his family is supporting a Pin̈ol in local politics.
His father, Joseph, also served as Mayor of Kidapawan for three terms and is now on his second term as Provincial Board Member.
Mayor Pao has a personal link with my family because he and my second daughter, Josa Bernadette who is now a medical physician, were classmates in the Ateneo de Davao College.
Kidapawan City has the biggest voting population in North Cotabato with 91,167 voters.
Cotabato which has three Congressional Districts has a voting population of 771,000.
