Happy New Year Everyone! The Farmer Does Reggae To Support The Farm Boy!

About a month ago, former PTV4 cameraman Cezar Tuazon, who has joined my small media team, told me that a little known reggae band in Davao City wanted to help me in my bid for the Senate.
Nagkita kami sa Starbucks sa Ecoland Davao and I met the lead vocalist, Michael Labra, and the group’s manager, Dyan Mae Labra.
I asked them how much would they ask if they did a jingle for my advocacies and my political campaign and they qiuoted a price which I said I could not afford.
“Sige lang Sir, mao man na among professional fee pero para sa imo kay gatuo mi sa imong adbokasiya, panggastos lang sa among paglakaw-lakaw, para maghimo video” Michael said.
(It’s okey Sir. That amount is our professional fee but for you since we believe in our advocacies, we just need a little amount for our expenses in filming the video.)
Yesterday, I was surprised to hear a full advocacy reggae piece from The Farmer which they did in less than three weeks.
Thank you Michael and Dyan Mae Labra and thank you to the members of The Farmer – band leader and lead guitarist Sean Paul Anthony Tabigue, Lorenz Villegas, keyboard; Kent Tabigue, drummer; and Angelo Tabigue, bass.
I hope to work with them for my other advocacies, especially in the Green Philippines Program.
Good work and thank you, The Farmer!
Happy New Year to everyone and let us welcome 2022 with high hopes for a better life!
