‘Kailangan Manalo!’ Batangas Agri-Aqua Leaders Pledge All-Out Support

Leaders of farmers and fisherfolk of Batangas, including poultry and livestock raisers, yesterday pledged their all-out support for my Senate bid in a Town Hall caucus in Padre Garcia.

Led by the Provincial Agriculture and Fisheries Council (PAFC) President, Gaudencio Genil, they declared that without a true farmer representing the sector in the Senate, the next six years would see the collapse of the country’s food self-sufficiency program.

“Kailangan nating maipanalo ang isang magsasaka sa Senado dahil kung hindi malulugmok tayo,” Gelin said.

The Municipal Agriculture and Fisheries Council Presidents and officers from all towns,including the Batangas Egg Producers Cooperative committed to undertake a massive campaign.

Also present during the caucus were Gubernatorial Candidate Dacio Gutierrez, former Padre Garcia Mayor Abraham Gutierrez and Ibaan mayoralty candidate Cesar Marasigan, who are all my partymates in the Nationalist People’s Coalition.
