PACMAN BRUTALLY BASHED BY NETIZENS FOR DEFENDING VP BINAY IN GENSAN VISIT

Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, a folk hero to many poor kids, received a brutal bashing from netizens following the posting of an ANC report that he defended embattled Vice President Jejomar Binay from corruption charges during the latter’s visit in Gen. Santos City today.

The ANC website article which carried many pictures of Binay’s visit in Gen. Santos City and Saranggani Province gained over 400 comments mainly cruel and brutal denunciation of the boxing hero.

Pacquiao, a second term Congressman representing the lone district of Saranggani, is a member of Binay’s United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).

The Vice President and his family are subjects of a Senate Blue Ribbon Committee investigation because of alleged corruption in Makati City during his incumbency as Mayor.

Binay and his son, Makati Mayor Junjun Binay, have refused to attend the Senate hearings.
