“Pareng Gob,” a 30-minute Radio Program which I hosted when I was Governor of Cotabato many years ago and which has been revived this week, will be carried simulcast live by nine radio stations all over North Cotabato during our second broadcast today, Saturday.
We’re Live at 12nn to 12:30 p.m. today over DXND Kidapawan; DXMS Cotabato City; DXCA Arakan; Ronda Fm, Kidapawan; Joy FM Kidapawan, GNN Tulunan, Max FM Midsayap; Bandera Midsayap and Power Radio Midsayap.
In today’s broadcast, I and my co-host, Vice Gov. Efren Piñol, will discuss the low buying price of palay and the endless brownouts and blackouts in North Cotabato.
I will present the Rice Self-Sufficiency Strategy where the provincial government will play a direct role in ensuring that farmers are protected and consumers could buy premium rice locally produced at affordable prices.
The problem of poor and unreliable power supply will also be discussed with a proposed solution to finally end this problem so that North Cotabato could move up to the Agro-Industrialization phase of our development.
