St. Paul Sisters in South Africa

After the Church visit, Edrin, Rolando Angel and I, guided by our behemoth of a driver cum bodyguard, Jacob Mphuti who stands about 6′ 6″, visited the Pauline’s Book Shop managed by the Sisters of St. Paul. 

Two of the St. Paul sisters are Filpinas and we had the privilege of meeting Sr. Marlyn De Una from Sorsogon and Sr. Gisella Lapez from Manila. 

It was a warm and lively meeting as the two Sisters expressed happiness over the unexpected visit by the Filipino boxing delegation. 

Sr. Marlyn was happy to know that I am married to the daughter of a native of Matnog, Sorsogon, while Sr. Gisella was glad to finally meet Manny Pinol, the journalist. 

From their looks, the two Filipino nuns were happy with what they are doing in South Africa and serving Jesus Christ.
