Thank You, Francis Kent Regis And All Social Media Supporters!

A distant relative from Leyte has unceasingly posted memes and artworks on Social Media to support my bid for the Philippine Senate next year and I am deeply touched.

My late mother, Efigenia, belongs to the Pantin and Regis clan of Leyte as my grandfather, Venancio Pantin, was originally from Abuyog but moved to Iloilo as a young adventurous man.

(My middle name should really spell Pantin, not Fantin. I was told by Nanay that my uncle, Teodoro, changed the P to F in our family records.)

I have not met Francis but just like many others who know that I do not have the resources to wage a national campaign or place ads on national television, Francis had been bombarding Facebook with his artworks.

I would be totally insensitive if I do not take time to thank him and the many others who are supporting this quest to represent our farmers, fishermen and workers in the Senate.
