Great Father’s Day Gift! Big China Market For EVIARC Sweet Jackfruit

Eng Seng Food Products President John Tan, now the biggest exporter of Mindanao Durian to China, made a surprise visit to my farm today and bared an even greater surprise.
After tasting the EVIARC Sweet Jackfruit which I offered to him and his group, John asked if he could buy all production of the EVIARC Sweet Jackfruit.
He said the sweetness of the EVIARC Jackfruit, also known as the Abuyog Sweet, would be a big hit in the huge China market.
Actually, his discovery of the sweetness of the EVIARC Jackfruit was accidental.
He accompanied Durian farmers from Davao City who wanted to ask for my help in getting the support of government for Durian farmers who face high cost of farm inputs.
Benjamin Musa, Jemuel Samdain and Marvin Alterado said the potentials of the Mindanao Durian of contributing to the economy could be enhanced with the support of government.
I gave them inputs on how to bring down their production cost by applying a combination of Organic and Inorganic Fertilizer.
While we were discussing the Durian Market prospects in China, my househelps offered newly harvested EVIARC Jackfruit.
After taking a bite, John Tan was so fascinated by the sweetness that he offered to export frozen EVIARC Sweet Jackfruit to China.
With this development, I will have to organize the EVIARC Sweet Jackfruit Growers of the country to consolidate our production.
This is a new Agricultural Industry in the making.
