Giant Bamboo Planting Even On Christmas Day!

My family’s commitment to help regreen the country by planting fruit trees and Giant Bamboo is unrelenting.

Today, Christmas Day, my older brother, retired Royal Marines Commando-trained SAF officer, Patricio, planted 100 Giant Bamboo large planting materials by the banks of a river beside his farm in Cotabato.

In three years, he will harvest a lot of young bamboo shoots or “labong” while preventing the scouring of the

river bank.
