Giant Bamboo Program! “Limot Na Ang Mga Pangako, Kawayan Ko’y Tuloy Pagtubo”

Sa gitna ng gitgitang kampanya sa politika, tuloy-tuloy lang ang ating naumpisahan na Green Philippines Advocacy through the distribution of Giant Bamboo Propagules all over the country.
This week may dumating tayo na 31,000 Giant Bamboo Propagules in cocopeat-filled polybags for several provinces in Luzon, including the Kapampangan Development Foundation, Inc.
As of today, umaabot na sa 400,000 planting materials ng Giant Bamboo ang naipamahagi sa boung Pilipinas pero merong mga probinsya na di ko kayang abutin, tulad ng Batanes, because of logistical and expense issues.
Ang Giant Bamboo Program ng aking Green Philippines Advocacy ay naglalayon na makapagtanim ng at least 1,000 hectares in every province, especially in areas where the mountains are denuded to prevent soil erosion.
It will also give birth to the Bamboo Processing Industry for the “wood” needs of the country in the future and provide income for Giant Bamboo growers and jobs for rural workers.

This is my personal advocacy and whatever will be the outcome of the elections, I will see this through.
This is simply a “walk-the-talk” example.
We cannot claim to be concerned with environmental protection when we have not even planted one single tree.
Maaring maglalaho ang mga pangako sa eleksyon na ito, pero ang aking mga kawayan at tuloy-tuloy ang pagtubo, even when I would be gone from this world.
