Yesterday, on the 87th day of our Upland Hybrid Rice Demo Farm, I noticed the presence of stinky bugs on the young grains.
Stinky Bugs are called “Tyangaw” in the local dialect and they suck the milk from the young grains leaving the panicles with empty shells.
So, today, I asked our rice farming consultant Nathanael “Ontoy” Fabila to check the presence of the Stinky Bugs.
In this video, Ontoy shares with us several ways, indigenous and modern, to address the Stinky Bugs problem.
