When I planted the 6 seedlings of Hass Avocado in the highlands of Miarayon, Talakag, Bukidnon last Tuesday, there was so much interest and queries on the equipment I used in digging the holes.
The equipment is called “Auger Soil Driller” and it could dig a hole in just a few minutes, making farm work easier.
I bought my Auger Driller a few years back when the price was still a bit high because it was new in the market.
Today, the Japanese model sells for P18,499 while the China made is P5,175, both available online through Lazada.
Mine came with two drill bits, one for large holes (shown in the photos) while the other has a smaller diameter.
It is gas-fed and so easy to use even for seniors like me.
