I, Farm Boy! Giant Bamboo Planting Materials for Visayas, Luzon!

Here is my advice for farmers in the Visayas and Luzon who had been asking how they could buy Giant Bamboo planting materials.

Every month, we send to the Bamboo Valley Corporation nursery in Cabagan, Isabela at least 40,000 sprouting or fully grown Giant Bamboo propagules.

BVC, a private Bamboo advocacy group, works with the Provincial Govt of Isabela and lately, Aboitiz Corp., to plant Giant Bamboo in the Magat Dam Watershed and other critical areas.

In the twice a month trips delivering Giant Bamboo planting materials to Isabela, we could serve farmers who only need 10 to 100 planting materials along the way – from Leyte and Samar to Bicol and Quezon.

We will have a truck passing this route next week so you signify you intention to acquire GB propagules this early.

All planting materials are in big bags using Coco Peat, not soil.

As a matter of clarification, the Giant Bamboo, Hass Avocado and Abuyog Sweet Jackfruit Nursery in my farm is a personal project as a farmer and greening advocate.
