In the early years of my involvement with goat breeding and raising, I had two bucks who were remarkable because of their looks and performance.
One was a Boer buck named Rocky, so muscular and handsome that he was adjudged Best Boer Buck in the 2006 National Goat and Sheep Congress of the Philippines Championships.
A proof that Rocky was a good breeder was the selection of his offsprings, a young buck and a young doe, as champions in the Junior Division in that same show held in Cagayan de Oro City.
Another remarkable buck was Hidalgo Clark, a brown spotted Anglo Nubian I acquired from Mid-America who was almost as large as a mule.
All of Hidalgo Clark’s offsprings, both male and female, produced good milk and looked beautiful.
Both these remarkable Bucks are long gone but I know that some of their progenies are still in the hands of other goat breeders who acquired breeding materials from me.
I would like to buy back some of the progenies of Hidalgo Clark.
If some of my goat breeder friends still have the line, I will be very thankful if you could sell me back a young buck and two doelings.
I prefer them to come spotted, of course.
Please contact me.
Thanks.
