I, Farm Boy! Israel Pressurized Fertigation In Upland Rice Pilot Farm

Today is Day 20 of our experimental upland rice farm using Pressurized Irrigation and Fertigation Technology developed by Israel.

DA Asec for BARMM and former PhilRice Executive Director Dr. Sailila Abdula and the PhilRice team along with the staff from MinDA visited the area today to assess the growth of the Seedworks TH 82 hybrid.

The assessment: Good growth performance.

So, we have to wait for three more months to determine whether our upland rice farmers could plant twice a year with the help of modern pressurized irrigation and fertigation.
