Even with the hectic schedule in moving around the country as part of the preparations for the May 2022 elections, I make sure that I get to check on my animals in the farm.
Today, I made rounds of the breeding yards of my Manok Pinoy, a strain of dual-purpose free range chicken which I personally developed.
I created this strain for meat and egg production by simply breeding a prolific egg layer breed to the huge Oriental fowls.
Seeing my chicken, goats and the sèedlings growing in the nursery somehow recharges my energy.

Kaya tulad ng nasabi ko na, sa pagsabak sa eleksyon sa Mayo bilang kandidato sa pagka Senador, wala akong ni bahagyang takot o kaba.
I’m simply offering my honest and dedicated service to the Filipino people.
If I am not chosen by the people because there are other more popular or moneyed candidates, I will never feel sad or bad.
