I, Farm Boy! ‘We Have Many Experts In Philippine Agriculture’

While many people see me as having deep knowledge of Philippine Agriculture, I have to honestly admit that there are many others who are experts in their fields and I always bow to them.
When I need to understand Soil Science and Fertilization, I consult Rocky French, the Filipino-American farmer-scientist whose experience in desert farming in Indio, California gave him a reservoir of knowledge gained through actual practice.
When I want to know more about rice farming, I consult Outstanding Rice Farmer Danilo Arcales Bolos whose harvest of 17-Metric Tons per hectare stands as the highest in the history of rice farming in the country.
Yesterday, when I needed somebody to help me propagate my Golden Mondo Saba, I called on a young agriculturist who operates a Banana Tissue Culture Laboratory in my city.
Jay Mearns will now undertake the mass propagation of the Golden Mondo, a cooking banana variety which is in great demand in the US market among Filipino-Americans.
Nobody has the monopoly of knowledge and the farming chores that you do not know a lot about are best undertaken by engaging experts.
