I, Farm Boy!Pagtanim Ng Kadyos Napakadali At Nakakatuwa

Last week, before flying to Manila for a series of campaign engagements, I planted a few seeds of Kadyos (sn. Cajanus cajan) beside my farmhouse.
The planting of Kadyos, one of the main components of the Ilonggo delicacy KBL (Kadyos, Baboy, Langka), is being encouraged by Fil-Am farmer-scientist Rocky French as one of the substitutes for the expensive Soybean meal, a major ingredient in Aqua, Poultry and Hog Feeds.
Today, I woke up to a pleasant and heartwarming sight of young Kadyos seedlings sprouting.
So, I asked my kasambahay, Mina Bala, to put up seedling guards to protect the young Kadyos.
Ganito lang kadali ang magtanim at hindi din ako naniniwala sa kasabihang you need a :Green Thumb” to be a successful farmer.
Lahat tayo puedeng magtanim at ang kailangan lang ay interes at pagmamahal sa halaman.
Everybody can be a farmer.
