Lesson No. 1 Weekly Instructional Series On Backyard Chicken Farming

Starting today and every Sunday thereafter, I will be posting a video instructional series on backyard chicken raising as part of the advocacy of the Mindanao Development Authority and mine, as well, rediscover this traditional farming activity to address rural poverty.

The program to re-introduce Backyard Chicken Farming in Mindanao learns from the experiences of farmers in the past taking into consideration the reasons why this very profitable farming activity had been neglected.

As a chicken farmer myself, I know the problems faced by farmers and I have identified the strategies to address these.

In this weekly video presentation, I will attempt to educate farmers or would be farmers on how to start a backyard chicken project by showing them practical ways of doing it.
