As a way of helping families whose farms were destroyed by the recent typhoon, I am starting the Typhoon Odette Green Aid Campaign which aims to gather Giant Bamboo planting materials, fruit and tree seedlings and seeds to be donated to areas ravaged by the typhoon.
Initially, my farm nursery is ready with about 50,000 Giant Bamboo seedlings which could be turned over to the local government units of the Mindanao and Visayas provinces affected by the typhoon.
I would also be interested in partnering with NGOs and farmers‘ cooperatives and associations in the areas.
This is on top of the 1,000-Giant Bamboo planting materials per province which I had earlier committed as part of my Green Philippines Advocacy.
Ito lang ang naisip ko na puedeng maitulong sa mga biktima ng bagyo kasi wala naman akong resources para makapamigay ng food assistance.
Maski anong seedlings puede, including Coconut, Lanzones, Mangosteen, Avocado, Langka, Coffee, Cacao at iba pa.
Donated seedlings will be picked up from your nurseries and you will be given the corresponding receipts to show your donations.
Please post your commitment of support in the comments section of this post so that we will be able to contact you.
