Spanish Goats From USA To Upgrade Native Goats!

A program to upgrade Philippine Native Goats by infusing the genetics of the hardy Spanish Goats from the USA has started.
With the help of Romanian-American goat breeder, Pavel Finetean and his family, we have gathered 150 heads of outstanding Spanish Goats breeders which will be bred in a Nucleus Farm established by the Department of Agriculture in Makilala, North Cotabato.
The Spanish Goat breeders will be flown in from the U.S. by December this year and by 2025, the first Spanish-Philippine Goat Hybrids will be available for our farmers.
