Advocacy Bears Fruit! 3 BARMM TOWNS ADOPT SOLAR IRRIGATION SYSTEM

The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has adopted the Solar-Powered Irrigation Technology which was introduced to the region by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) through the Municipality of Taraka.

Even if I am no longer with MinDA, I am extremely pleased to follow this development in the BARMM which is barely two years old.

With pro-active leaders who are ready to embrace new technology and concepts in rural development, BARMM could very well overtake other regions of the country in reducing poverty and increasing productivity.
