After Pandemic daw! Okra Export Story Corrected, Edited

The erroneous story that the Philippines exported Okra to Japan for the FIRST TIME three days ago has been corrected.
First time daw since the Pandemic, according to the corrected version.
Palusot, of course, pero sige na nga.
Next time, bago mag press release, validate muna para di nasusunog!
The truth is farmers from Tarlac had been exporting Okra to Japan for the last 30 years.
This was done with barely any help from government.
For people in government to take credit for the accomplishments of our farmers is deceitful.
I remember during the previous administration, President Benigno Aquino III proudly announced during his SONA that the Philippines under his term was exporting rice.
That was a big lie because the farmers’ cooperative which was exporting rice, Don Bosco Multi-Purpose Cooperative, had been doing the export of Organic Rice long before Noynoy became President.
I should know because the coop is based in my hometown.
This is the same coop which will supply Mayor Isko Moreno with 600 metric tons of organic Black and Red Rice for Manila’s senior citizens this Christmas.
But back to the new version of the Okra export story, double check nyo din ha, baka may nakapagship during the Pandemic ahead of the recent shipment.
Mapapahiya na naman kayo.
