The first Mindanao Bamboo Summit which aims to establish the Mindanao Bamboo Industry Council is scheduled to be held Jan. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Development Bank of the Philippines regional office in Cagayan de Oro City.
Initiated by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) as part of its Green Mindanao Project, the face-to-face meeting will be attended by the MinDA Chairman Sec. Emmanuel Piñol, the President of DBP Emmanuel Herbosa, President of the Bukidnon Giant Bamboo Resources Corp. Rod Bioco and representatives of the different government departments.
Stakeholders and interested sectors who could not join the face-to-face meeting could attend the virtual conference via Zoom through the link provided in the image attached in this post.
