Following the controversial “disqualification loss” of Ryan Rey Ponteras in a non-title fight last Sunday in Ginowan, Okinawa, Japan, another Braveheart boxer will attempt to score a victory in New Jersey, USA on June 14.
Jundy “Pretty Boy” Maraon, 27, originally from Sominot, Zamboanga del Sur will appear in a fight which will be televised by ESPN all over the US.
This will be his second fight in the U.S. since he was sent to California to train under Nonito Donaire Sr., who is also Maraon’s co-manager along with the Pinol Brothers of the Braveheart Boxing Club of North Cotabato.
