Di kita uurungan Angelo! PROVE THE “BILLIONS” I WILL RESIGN; IF NOT YOU RESIGN!

I woke up today seeing a link to a Facebook post of my province-mate and DZRH staff announcer Angelo Palmones urging President Rody Duterte to investigate “billions”-worth of Solar Powered Irrigation Systems (SPIS) which he said are “non-functional.”

Any statement from me denying this would only be self-serving, so I have opted to propose a better way of validating the allegation of Angelo Palmones.

Here it is:

Prove that “Billions” worth of Solar-Powered Irrigation Systems (SPIS) are “non-functional.”

I suggest we agree to form an independent investigating team composed of the Ombudsman, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Farmers Groups.

If your allegation that “billions” worth of SPIS are non-functional is proven, I will immediately resign from government and go home to my farm.

On the other hand, if your allegation is proven untrue, I will ask you to resign from DZRH and desist from working in the supposedly objective mainstream media.

Then, you could work full-time as “media consultant” to big politicians instead of doing it clandestinely now.

I cannot understand how a province-mate whose other family members in Kidapawan, including Judge Francis Palmones, we in the Piñol Family consider as our “blood brothers” could allow himself to be used in maligning me and my family.

(Remember how my father and your uncle bled together when they were ambushed? My apologies to the other members of the Palmones Clan. I don’t like this to happen but Angelo started this. Ini-sakripisyo nya ang malalim na relasyon ng ating pamilya para pasayahin ang mga amo nya. Pera-pera lang.)

Alam ko ang agenda ninyo ng mga amo mo – you are looking for a scapegoat to blame to deflect the attention of people from the monumental blunder that they have done.

Hwag ako, Angelo.

You should know me better.

Lalaban ako at ipagtatanggol ko ang ngalan ko at dangal ng aking pamilya.

I can look at anybody straight in the eye and declare that I have not enriched myself in office.

Nakalimutan nyo yata na nag volunteer ako for a lifestyle check by the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission and after a 7-month investigation, including AMLAC, I was cleared.

Ikaw kaya?

I am asking the management of Manila Broadcasting Corporation to conduct a lifestyle check on Angelo Palmones.

I believe it is only fair that he who criticizes corruption in government should be as pure as Ceasar’s wife

By the way, na resolve na ba yong kaso mo ng corruption sa Ombudsman when you were a Party-list Congressman?

Kung hindi pa, you do not have the moral ascendancy to even criticize me and other dedicated workers in government!
