As my personal contribution to the advocacy to develop Jackfruit Farming, I am offering scions for grafting for free.
Those interested will just have to come to my farm in Barangay Paco, Kidapawan City, Cotabato to do the defoiling themselves.
As instructed by Jackfruit experts from EVIARC who visited my farm last year, grafting of Jackfruit seedlings is quite difficult.
You start by taking out the leaves of the twig which would be used in grafting.
After 12 days and when the buds are starting to grow, that is when the twigs are cut and then grafted.
I would like to emphasize that I am not selling Jackfruit seedlings but I am sharing the scions for free.
But you have to come and get the scions yourselves from the hundreds of trees which I planted six years ago.
