FROM AMERICA TO PADADA VIA HAGONOY CARENDERIA

On the way to earthquake-hit Padada, Davao del Sur straight from an overnight trip from America, I dropped by a favorite carenderia along the Digos-Gensan Highway for hot Bulalo and Balbacua.

I was surprised to see Mindanao Development Authority Undersecretary Janet Lopoz in one table.

Then members of the Philippine Coast Guard came in too for late lunch and suddenly the place became very lively.

The Bulalo and Balbacua tasted good but knowing that many in government render services even during weekends when needed felt better.
