The Port of Matnog in Sorsogon, a critical connection from Mindanao and Visayas to Luzon, is now neat and orderly.
Gone are the long queues of trucks and vehicles which waited for days before they could be accomodated in the few ferry boats crossing the San Bernardino Strait to Allen, Samar.
Gone too are the mulcters who preyed on desperate travellers who were forced to cough up thousands just to get on the ferry boats.
Congratulations and thanks to Sec. Art Tugade of DOTR, the PNP, Coast Guard and LGU of Sorsogon and Matnog for addressing the complaints of travelers.
We just breezed through Matnog Port today on our way back to Mindanao.
