“Hundreds of millions…”‘ OFWs SEEK PRES. DUTERTE HELP TO RECOUP ‘PAIWI’ INVESTMENTS

Hundreds of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who claimed to have lost hundreds of millions in a “Paiwi” Investment Scheme today asked the help of President Rodrigo Duterte in recovering their hard-earned money.
The OFWs sought my help to relay their concerns to the President in a series of comments posted in my Facebook Page today in an article where I discussed about Backyard Chicken Farming.
The outpouring of complaints followed a brief comment made by Albert dela Cruz who said: “Wala ka kay DV, Sec. Instant Agri. Galawang scammer eh.”
He was obviously referring to a certain Soliman “Dexter” Villamin of DV Boer Farms who invited investors, mostly Overseas Filipino Workers, to put in their money in a “Paiwi” Scheme or grow out scheme for goats and cattle.
The investors were promised huge returns on their investments and many of them indeed received huge profits initially.
Then reports of delayed payments started to surface, a story which was featured in one of the programs of ABS-CBN.
Dela Cruz’s comment opened the floodgates as more complaints were posted in the same thread.
Then, suddenly, Villamin came out and posted a comment saying: “MannyPiñol shut your foul mouth up.”
He also attached two articles from the a Metro Manila newspaper which said that the Securities and Exchange Commission had cleared DV Boer.
While he vented his ire on me calling me “stupid” and incompetent, he conveniently ignored the comments from OFWs containing complaints against DV Boer.
Former employees of DV Boer have also testified.
The OFWs appealed to me to relay the issue to President Duterte.
“Sir, tulungan nio naman kami maparating tong issue na ito kay Pangulong Duterte at matutukan. Billions of hard earned pesos ang involved dito,” the OFWs begged.
