Chicken Talk

The joy of breeding is in the power to create.
Where the art master uses a paintbrush to create a masterpiece, the breeder uses two live animals in creating something new.
Today, I am breeding in the Braveheart Farms of Kidapawan City in North Cotabato Province a new Oriental line which I call the Shaseel.
Well, actually it is just the cross-breeding of the Japanese Shamo and the Philippine Aseel bred by Muslim tribes in the South.
The Shamos have strong necks and well-rounded body structure while the Aseels have the ability to withstand seasonal poultry diseases and subsist in the direst conditions.
Friends, please welcome the “Shaseel.”
