On the first working day of 2021, I and the boys were up and ready at 3 a.m. for a long journey which would take us from Kidapawan City to three provinces in Mindanao in two days.
First engagement was a breakfast meeting with Davao del Norte Gov. Edwin Jubahib, a poor farmer’s son who once worked as a bus conductor and who scored the biggest upset in by defeating an iconic political kingmaker in the Davao region.
Later today, we will be in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur for the Sorghum harvest and silage-making activity.
Tomorrow, the team will be in Naawan, Misamis Oriental for a similar activity.
All these activities are part of the Mindanao Sorghum Development Program to support the Livestock and Poultry Industry of the region.
