In compliance with the President’s directive to all government agencies and LGUs to render full assistance and cooperation to mobilize necessary resources to undertake critical, urgent, and appropriate responses against COVID-19, MinDA is setting up a coordination system for the public to convey constraints needing timely intervention related to movement of agri-fishery products and food commodities in different areas of Mindanao.
This initiative ensures availability and sustainability of food supply across the region, which is a critical requirement of the Presidential Proclamation No. 929. This policy declares State of Calamity in the country due to the threat brought by Corona Virus Disease (COVID-2019).
