MinDA Tienda in Baguio! CORDILLERANS COME IN DROVES ON FIRST DAY OF MinDA TIENDA

The two-day MinDA Tienda sa Cordillera opened yesterday in Baguio City even as Typhoon Ulysses caused a delay in the arrival of some goods from Mindanao, especially fruits.
Among the most awaited arrivals yesterday were the Durian, Mangosteen, Pomelo, dried fish and marine products from the Bangsamoro Region, Mindanao Beef and canned chicken products from Davao City.
Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong said that the MinDA Tienda continues on its second day today in several locations and it may be extend for another day on Monday to accommodate goods from Mindanao which were delayed because of the floods in Bicol and Quezon.
The MinDA Tienda sa Cordillera is a joint project of the Mindanao Development Authority, the Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and the City Government of Baguio.
