MinDA Vegetable Derby! Seed Companies Given Demonstration Farm Sites

Miarayon, Talakag, Bukidnon – I marked my first year in office as head of the Mindanao Development Authority today in the fields where the first-ever Mindanao Vegetable Derby will be staged starting this month.

Representatives of Seed Companies who will be participating joined the inspection of the demonstration farm sites which will showcase their seeds and technology.

After the inspection, municipal agricultire officials conducted the draw lots for the specific location of the demo farms.

It was a great feeling celebrating a milestone in public service in the fields with people who will be instrumental in improving farmers productivity, reduce poverty and trigger economic recovery.
