PARTNERSHIP FOR MINDANAO. Representatives of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) pay a courtesy visit to MinDA Secretary Emmanuel Piñol today in MinDA Office, Davao City.
Secretary Piñol encourages the group to look at Bangsamoro region as an area for potential power investments in Mindanao, being the development priority region of President Rodrigo Duterte. He will also assist the group to meet with DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade regarding the Mindanao Railway System project, and Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go on other possible development ventures for Mindanao.
KEPCO is the largest electric utility in South Korea that develops electric power projects on wind power and coal. Currently, KEPCO Philippines operates Ilijan Powerplant in Batangas, Naga Powerplant Complex in Naga City, and CFBC Powerplant in Cebu City. KEPCO representatives include Mr. Paulino Gueco, Ms. Erlinda Maximo, Mr. Wee Yong Ho, Mr. Lee Sang Hun, and Mr. Park Do Moon. #IntegratingMinDAnao
