Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) September 7, 2019 · MinDA-BARMM PARTNERSHIP. MinDA Secretary Emmanuel Piñol meets BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Murad Ebrahim, Al Haj today to discuss important development initiatives for the Bangsamoro region.

This includes MinDA’s request to BARMM Parliament for legislative action on the Draft BARMM Master Plan for Agriculture and Fisheries, and a legislation allowing the export of young and matured coconuts from BARMM to Middle East and China to help coconut farmers overcome extremely low prices of copra.

Secretary Piñol also informed Chief Minister Murad Ebrahim about the interest of Italian and Turkish Embassies to engage BARMM in the implementation of some development projects.

This effort is part of the many initiatives of Secretary Piñol as President Rodrigo Duterte’s Point Man for Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, to ensure meaningful and effective interfacing of national government and the BARMM. #IntegratingMindanao
