The MinDA Tienda advocacy program of the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) which promotes Mindanao as a food production, investments and tourism area is catching fire.
On the second week of December, MinDA Tienda goes to the oldest business district of Manila, the Binondo Chinatown.
This follows closely the very successful MinDA Tienda sa Manila held first week of October and the MinDA Tienda sa Cordillera set in Baguio City this weekend.
The invitation to stage MinDA Tienda in Binondo Chinatown was relayed to MinDA Asst. Secretary Cherry Akbar by the Office of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso.
Expected to be displayed in the MinDA Tienda sa Binondo Chinatown are exotic products from the Bangsamoro Provinces, including high value marine products from Tawitawi, Sulu, Basilan and Zamboanga.
Fruits and other agricultural products from the main island will also be included.
The MinDA Tienda Program is an undertaking of the MinDA with the support of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, the local governments units, the Dept. of Trade and Industry, the Dept. of Agriculture and other agencies.
