No Fretting, No Panic! ‘SAGIP’ LSI COVID POSITIVE ISOLATED, NO BLAME GAME

One of the Cotabato residents stranded in Metro Manila who was rescued by the provincial government’s “Task Force Sagip Stranded” has tested positive for COVID 19 following a Rapid test right after arrival.

She has been isolated and a contact tracing effort has been conducted.

Unlike in other areas where cases like this have been met with howls of protests and marked by blame game, officials of North Cotabato are handling this case well.

This was part of the risks which were considered when the provincial government chartered commercial airplanes and rented buses and vans to bring home to Cotabato 2,055 individuals and Overseas Workers stranded for over 2 months in Metro Manila and Cebu following the lockdown.

The provincial government has set up protocols to handle the situation calmly and professionally.

There is none of the blame game.
