Passing the baton! New, Former MinDA Chiefs Meet!

Tomorrow, Jan. 18, I will provide the new Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) Chairperson, Secretary Maria Belen Sunga-Acosta, a briefer on the programs of the agency implemented during my 2-year stint as head of MinDA.

It is a meeting which I personally requested and accepted by the new MinDA Secretary who was appointed three months after I resigned on Oct. 5 to join the Senate race.

In the meeting scheduled tomorrow afternoon in Davao City, I will make a power point presentation on the programs and projects implemented during my term.

I believe it is my obligation as the former head of the agency to give the new MinDA Secretary a briefing to ensure continuity.

Just like runners in a race which we must win, there should be a smooth turn-over of the baton.
