Puerto Princesa City Mayor Edward S. Hagedorn, whose relentless campaign brought the amazing Puerto Princesa Underground River to international fame and renown, will be arriving in Kabacan, North Cotabato to personally support the “Misyon Pagmamahal” medical and surgical mission on Feb. 2.
Hagedorn, who championed environmental programs in Puerto Princesa and built the reputation of the city as the cleanest in the whole country, is running for a seat in the Philipine Senate, the only local government official to join the 2013 senatorial race.
He will arrive in Davao City Feb. 1 and will spend the night in Midsayap town in North Cotabato where he will meet with his local leaders.
Right after arriving in Midsayap town, Mayor Hagedorn will visit the Notre Dame of Midsayap College and the Southern Christian College students to share his advocacy on environmental protection.
He will proceed to Kabacan the following day, Saturday, for the opening of the one-day medical mission.
From Bannawag, Kabacan, Mayor Hagedorn will proceed to the campus of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) and then to M’lang where he will again meet with his leaders in the second and third congressional districts of the province.
Mayor Hagedorn is running for the Senate under the National People’s Coalition (NPC), the political party to which I belong.
