I passed by a beautiful farmland in the town of Pualas, Lanao del Sur on the way to Taraka.
The farm scene was so beautiful that I asked the driver to turn around.
At least five Maranao farmers using working bulls to plow the fields were preparing for the next planting season.
Behind them loomed a mountain full of trees.
Three years after the Maute rampage and the Marawi siege, life is returning to normal in Lanao del Sur.
Now is the time to rebuild their homes and help them become more productive.
