On the way on Baguio City for the MinDA Tienda sa Cordillera, we had to spend the night in Allen, Samar as the ferry boat services suspended operations because of rough seas and strong winds caused by Typhoon Ulysses.
This situation is not new to me or my staff and we travel bringing along with us all the things needed.
Beddings, towels, toiletries and, of course, food and water.
This morning, while waiting for the go-signal from the Philippine Coast Guard to cross the San Bernardino Strait to Matnog, Sorsogon, we had a special breakfast – local pandesal and our new product – Mindanao Ube Jam.
The Ube Jam in the pet bottle is 3 days old but the taste gives you the feeling that it has just been cooked.
Refrigetated, it is said that Ube Jam could have a shelf life of 30 days.
Given the fact that the Mindanao Ube Jam uses only Honey and Goats Milk as ingredients, I would like to check how long would be its shelf life.
Remember that pure and real honey could be kept in room temperature for a long time without getting spoiled.
May epekto kaya ito sa shelf life ng Mindanao Ube Jam?
We will know this when we submit our samples to the SGS in Makati for nutritional and shelf life analysis.
