Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte – One day after the signing of the agreement ending the three-cornered conflict which could have jeopardized a multi-billion peso banana plantation, two major roads traversing through the farm were opened to the public today.
Political protagonists Gov. Edwin Jubahib of Davao del Norte and former Cong. Anton Lagdameo, scion of the Floreindo Clan which owns Tagum Agricultural Development Company (TADECO) cut the ceremonial ribbon in three roads traversing the plantation.
This was agreed upon on the condition that biosecurity protocols are observed.
Personally, I am happy with what was achieved today because once more it was proven that for as long as people talk, conflicts could be resolved.
