THEY COME, THEY LISTEN, THEY LAUGH, THEY CRY…

After every sortie which I conducted where I explained to the people the important issues which they needed to understand prior to the elections on May 13, I felt so tired and drained.
Talking for over one hour before a huge group of rural people intently listening to you and trying to understand every word you say, saps my energy.
But I feel relieved seeing huge crowds waiting for hours for the coming of the person they call their “Idol.”
The happiness is complete when I hear them laugh at every funny line I deliver and cry when their feelings are touched.
My greatest reward is when at the end of the day, I review the pictures of the activities of the day.
Here in this picture posted, I am shown speaking before a huge crowd in South Manuangan, Pigcawayan where people waited for two hours before the caucus started.
