One of the major programs being implemented by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) in coordination with other national agencies and local government units is the MinDA Water Supply Program.
The program aims to provide water facilities in every village both for drinking and agriculture.
Solar-powered water systems and the Hydraulic Ram Pumps are two of the major projects under this program.
The first municipality to enroll in this program is Taraka, Lanao del Sur which is establishing six units of Solar Powered irrigation System for its rice farms and a Solar-Powered Water System to provide potable water to the households.
Hydraulic Ram Pumps will also be established in the IMTASULA Complex in Bukidnon to support its vegetable and high value crops program.
