GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP FOR DEVELOPMENT. Secretary Emmanuel F. Piñol presents MinDA’s thrusts and priorities for Mindanao, anchored on its vision of peace, prosperity, and poverty reduction, today during the Development Partners’ Meeting held at MinDA Office, Davao City.
Secretary Piñol is also joined by Asian Development Bank (ADB) Executive Director Paul G. Dominguez, who previously served as Presidential Adviser for Mindanao and Chairman of Mindanao Economic Development Council (MEDCo), the forerunner of MinDA.
Donor agencies including ADB, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Food Programme (WFP), European Union (EU), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), provided updates on their Mindanao-oriented country programs and contributory projects focusing on economic, infrastructure, social, governance, and environment sectors.
MinDA facilitates and integrates Mindanao-wide, inter-regional and region-specific programs including Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects for Mindanao socio-economic development.
