BAD BLOOD BETWEEN TRAINING GROUPS
MAKES PACQUIAO-RIOS BOUT MORE EXCITING

There is definitely bad blood between Manny Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, and the Brandon Rios camp
headed by chief trainer Robert Garcia.
It all started when a video went viral in the boxing world internet showing Rios mimicking Roach's stuttering, a
disability caused by Parkinson's disease.
In the same video Garcia and former Pacquiao conquest Antonio Margarito were laughing and giggling like children
enjoying Rios' taunting of Roach's disease.
The brewing trouble worsened when Colombian conditioning coach Alex Ariza was fired by Pacquiao and flew
posthaste to the Rios camp to assist the Pacman's opponent.
Yesterday, the whole thing erupted.
As Roach approached Garcia inside the Venetian Hotel gym where Rios was working out to remind him that the
challenger's training scheduled until 11 a.m. was up, the Mexican-American trainer reportedly told Roach that he
would stay 30 minutes more because an earlier interview delayed their training.
When Roach insisted that the Rios camp leave, Garcia reportedly told Roach: "Go fuck yourself."
That was when the stuttering Roach fired back and called Garcia "a piece of shit."
But the lowest moment of the confrontation was when Ariza unleashed a frontal kick which hit Roach in the chest.
It could have erupted in a melee were it not for the security men and the cooler Gavin Mcmillan, Pacquiao's new
conditioning coach, who asked Roach to calm down.
The camps were separated but that is not the end of it all.
There is, undoubtedly, an intense desire on the part of the Pacquiao camp to get back at the Rios group and their
first opportunity will be on Sunday morning when Pacquiao and Rios will go up to the ring and fight for 12 rounds.
Then, after the fight, whoever wins, people could expect a huge multi-million dollar suit which Roach will file against
Ariza.
You see, it's a big No-No when you attack a person in public and it is a bigger No-No when you assault somebody
with a disability.
I believe Ariza is starting to realize this now and he knows he is in trouble.
I also believe that both Garcia and Ariza realize that their fighter, the slugger and slower Rios, will be a punching
bag to the quicker and stronger Pacquiao.
This early, they are already seeing the writings on the wall: It's a One-Two combination from the Pacquiao-Roach
camp.
